    Andrew Hudleston, Esq. of Hutton-John, son and heir, succeeded his father in 1728. He was brought up to the study of the law, and was called to the bar. He was deputy-lieutenant, justice of the peace, and chairman of the quartersessions for the county of Cumberland, for nearly forty years. He married Mary, daughter and sole heir of the Reverend Richmond Fenton, of Plumpton Hall, co. Cumberland, and had issue,
    -Andrew, (son and heir), William, Joyce, Mary, Julia,
    Isabella, and Catherine.
    Andrew Hudleston, Esq. of Hutton-John, son and heir' was brought up to the bar, at Gray's Inn, and succeeded his father in 1780. He married Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Sir William Fleming of Rydal, co. Westmorland, Baronet.
