    Description

    Maggie Walker had me confused for many years because she has no marking typical of a Madame Alexander doll.  However, once I started to research the year in a reference book I realized that many Maggie's of this time period did not have markings.  Maggie's hair is still in the original set complete with her beauty barrettes and I've added a wonderful flower band by eBay's Richard's Originals.  She came to me naked but the dress she is wearing fits her to a 'T' and also with research it seems to fit the time era for this doll.  Who would have thought!  Maggie still walks like a champ, moving her head with a stride, she has no splits or foul odors- a real beauty!  She is a darling doll for your Madame Alexander doll collection!
