1950s Vintage 20" Madame Alexander Shari Lewis Doll
in Original Tagged Dress
Shari stands 20 inches tall and has eyes that open and close properly. She has pierced ears. Dress is tagged "
Shari
."
Shari has a golden two piece dress that is a separate blouse and skirt.  It has a pink taffeta sash around her waist with flower accents in the skirt. Underneath there is a yellow petticoat/slip with tulle in the hem where you find the tag that reads "
Shari.
" And undies match the petticoat.  She has long back seam hosiery and black sandals that fit her feet.
Her auburn wig needs a little tending to set it right.  Bangs are curls that need to be stitched probably to stay in place as they currently move.
She has full upper lashes and her original lip color, eyebrows and eyelashes but her face color paint has been taken off - see images and she's kind of pale.  The rosiness in her cheeks you see in the photos is only temporary clinique blush we added for the photo session that you can easily wipe off.  Eyes open and close but sometimes seems like she's looking down.  I can get her eyes to open all the way but they don't always do it like they should.
She wears a lovely faux pearl necklace but the clasp in the back is missing a piece and doesn't clasp properly.  I'll pack it in a small plastic bag so the pearls aren't lost in the delivery.
She has a little green in her left wrist from past jewelry she used to wear.  Left leg has small crack at top inside seam.  Right leg as small crack at top backside seam.
I have photographed the doll just as I found her.  Her history is unknown.  I did not notice any odors.
My home is smoke free where she has been for a brief stay only.
** Item is NOT mint but shows evidence of being loved. I have tried to photograph her from all sides with her wardrobe and without.  I'm only allowed 12 photos on Ebay.

I have mentioned flaws that I have noticed but I'm not an expert so there may be others.  Ask questions about what's important to you that I did not show in photos or mention in the description.  I will answer if I can. I don't guarantee that I will know but I try.

SHIPPING
Doll is packaged very carefully.  She is wrapped in tissue paper before and then bubble wrap.  Bubble wrap will be lightly sealed with scotch tape so that you do NOT have to use scissors to unwrap the doll. I then use packing peanuts around the doll to cushion her within the box.
The buyer's name MUST be the name on the shipping label.  -
(I do not do
"in care of" type of labels using
C/O or CO).  If a name appears on the address different than the name of the buyer, I may cancel the order.

-- I will hand deliver the package to the post office worker and watch them scan it in and give me a paper printed receipt of delivery which I keep as official USPS proof that I shipped your package.
I will not put your package in a drop box where it risks not getting scanned.
