2 Vintage Letters From Hoode To Columbus Law School Student George E Hildreth OH

These letters were written in September and October of an unknown year from a Mr. Hoode to his friend George E Hildreth. The first letter was sent to 200 N Columbia Ave, Columbus, OH and is written on United States Marine Corps stationery; Hoode mentions to Hildreth "last I heard from you you were trying to get into Columbus Law School" and also mentions visiting New York in November. It's clear both of them are young men as both letters talk a lot about dating women and getting drunk, and even attending a football game! The second letter sees Hoode congratulating Hildreth on getting engaged. He also asks "How do you like law school?" so it's safe to say Hildreth probably made it into Columbus Law School as a student.
