    Description

    Dumplin Baby was produced by Madame Alexander with a hard plastic head & limbs on a cloth body.  The description in my reference book talks about her in an organdy dress or checked overalls- as you can see mine is in the organdy dress with matching bonnet.  The flaws in my girl are her eyes, when I bought her, they were rolling around in the back of her head.  We got them re-attached and had to give her some eyelashes- she had lost the middle ones sometime in her life.  Also, the original owner had placed her in moth balls- she must have been 10 inches deep in them!!!  I've managed to clean, put elastic in her drawers and love her for the last years but now she should be enjoyed by someone else.  Hope someone will enjoy her for another 50 years!
