This 47 inch x 8-1/2 inch fireplace heat deflector hood offers the protection to safely use the space above your mantle. Fireplace hoods help to deflect the heat coming out of the fireplace preventing it from rising straight up and potentially ruining a T.V. or mantel above the fireplace. This hood is custom made to order and is manufactured from high quality materials right here in the USA. Typically this hood takes 3 to 4 weeks to fabricate and ship. When using a fireplace hood with a fireplace door, the hood should be at least 1" wider than the fireplace door itself. When using a fireplace hood without a door we recommend that your hood be 2-4" wider than your fireplace opening.
Installation:
Installation instructions are included in the product pictures, an installation manual will be sent with purchase along with all required mounting hardware. This hood can install by utilizing the clamp that comes with it, or you can drill holes through the back of the hood and attach it directly to the front of the fireplace.
