An impressive pair of antique French import enamel and silver 'footballer' cufflinks; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
These fine and impressive antique footballer cufflinks have been crafted in silver.
Each links is embellished with a cream enamel decoration, depicting a footballer upon a sunburst design background.
The cream enamel panels are bordered by a dark blue enamelled frame, showing minor signs of wear in keeping with age.
The links and articulate via a five link chain to the reverse, the links hallmarked with the French silver import mark (swan) and a partially worn maker's mark.
The cufflinks have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as silver.
Condition
These antique 1890's footballer cufflinks are fine quality set with impressive enamel panels.
The cufflinks are a very good gauge of silver and are in excellent condition, with slight signs of wear to the blue enamel borders.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
