Cissy - Vintage Madame Alexander doll SHOPPING CISSY 1956

Description

This vintage Madame Alexander Doll was made in 1956.  This Cissy is Going Shopping.  You can find her on p.112 in The Cissy Files book by Kiley Ruwe Shaw.  My Cissy has blonde hair.  She is wearing a yellow tagged waffle weaved top and green Capri pants with gold heels.  She has a straw hat and purse.  I purchased her several years ago because she was like my childhood Cissy.  I have had her in a display case since I got her.  I have never removed her clothes.
Cissy might need a little TLC...her hair in not perfect.  Her straw hat is missing the green velvet ties and has a hole in it where the ties had been attached.  None of this bothered me or distracted from her beauty.
I just turned the hole in the hat to the back.  You might want to restring her....her head and arms are a bit loose, but again that didn’t bother me.  I will include her stand if you would like it.
I am not a doll expert....just a collector of dolls that I love.  I am downsizing my collection and hope that they will continued to be loved and enjoyed as much in their new homes.  I have many more Cissy dolls, clothes, hats, bags, and shoes that I will be listing in the weeks to come.  Please keep checking.
