The Repair Die is made from a solid piece of Hardened Stainless Steel and the BONUS piece of impact-resistant urethane pad (red-colored or black depending on availability), included at no extra charge is used to help get rid of the “wobble” in a coin ring as well as to protect the delicate detail of your coin rings' edges
.
This can also be used as a Compression Press Plate, when you're using an arbor press or a hydraulic press for sizing purposes to reduce your coin.
If your coin becomes uneven, or wobbly; (commonly found on thinner, smaller coins that have high reliefs such as the Washington Quarter), you can use this Coin Ring Repair Die and the piece of impact-resistant Urethane Pad,
(red-colored or black, depending on availability);
on any ring sizing machine, arbor press, or hydraulic press to help straighten the ring out.
