What an elegant and sophisticated dress and sparkling shoes for your vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll! It will also fit similar 19-21 inch dolls such as Miss Revlon, Dollikin, Sweet Sue Sophisticate and Belle Margie.
The dress was crafted by a wonderful eBay seamstress and is made of an amazing heavy, textured taffeta-like fabric. It looks rich brown or black depending on the light. It has a modern, varying-shape black dot design woven into the material. The bodice, which is fully lined, is decorated by an elegant black applique accented with black beads. The neckline and hem are perfectly edged with black satin. The waist is encircled by an attached black satin ribbon belt. There are three snaps in back covered by a row of five faux black buttons.
The shoes are from ElfCrafters. They have matte black bases, black felt linings and are decorated by rectangular ornaments of rhinestones set in silver-colored metal with black "onyx" accents.
The dress is new and unused; the shoes were very briefly displayed. Both are clean and damage-free. It is hard to capture the amazing fabric and the overall sophistication of this dress in photos. Cissy will make an "entrance" in this ensemble!
