Description
Perfume Poodle AntiquesHere is a pair of Hazel Atlas Newport "hairpin" pattern salt and pepper shakers from the 1930s. Dark purple amethyst glass (actually called "burgundy" in the Hazel Atlas brochures). These are part of a spectacular Connecticut treasure trove of dishes, all wrapped in newspapers from the 60s and 70s. These are in pretty good condition - one has a smooth chip in the base, and one of the tops has a small dent which I have pointed out in the photos. I haven't tried to clean or polish the tops at all so I'm sure they would benefit from some polishing.
These are lovely and display nicely. Prompt and careful shipping is included.
