The outdoor antenna receives and transmits signal from the nearest tower.
The signal booster amplifies signal both arriving and being sent to the nearest tower.
The indoor antenna retransmits the amplified signal inside the building.

. Even if there is LTE service in your area, your carrier may not be using the 850MHz band 5 signal. So please confirm your phone is receiving the band 5 signal from your carrier's tower, or it won't improve the cell signal for your phone.
How to find the band:
Make sure mobile data is on and the WIFI is off

Dial *3001#12345#* and press Call, if it shows "Field Test"

Dial *3001#12345#* and press Call, if it shows "Main Menu"
Step 1. Click LTE
Step 2. Click LTE Neighbor Info, you will find freq_band_ind

Download and install the app: LTE Discovery/ SignalCheck Lite/ Network Cell Info to find the band
These things are absolutely critical for the cell phone signal booster to work:
1. The 2G/3G cell signal booster could only work on 850MHz band 5 frequency,Carriers uses several bands throughout the USA, but even if there is service in your area, they may not be using the band 5. So confirm your phone could receive the band 5 signal from the signa tower,or the cell phone signal booster couldn't work for your cell phone.
2. There should be no obstructions between the nearest cell signal tower and Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna,and make sure the Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna could receive 2-3 bars of stable signal from nearest cell signal tower.
3. Keep the distance between the Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna and Indoor Omni-Directional Whip Antenna should be above 32ft (10 meters) and make sure a proper amount of physical separation between them(indoor walls or obstructions).

Installation Guide for Cell Phone Signal Booster:
1.Connect the 50ft Coaxial Cable to the Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna.
2.Please kindly download Network Cell Info Lite (free app) to find out the nearest cell signal tower. (OpenSignal.com and SignalCheck Lite also provide the app).
Once you ascertain the best location then permanently mount the Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna.
Keep the Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna towards the nearest cell signal tower,and make sure Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna could receive 2-3 bars of stable signal at the location where it is mounted.
3.Mount the cell phone signal booster device in your house where is near from the power socket,and have good ventilation.
4.Tightly connect the 50ft coaxial cable to the OUTDOOR port of the cell phone signal booster.
5.Tightly connect the Indoor Omni-Directional Whip Antenna to the INDOOR port of the cell phone signal booster.Keep the Indoor Omni-Directional Whip Antenna is above 32ft(10 meters) away from Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna and make sure a proper amount of physical separation between Indoor Omni-Directional Whip Antenna and Outdoor Directional Yagi Antenna.
6.Connect the power adapter to the signal booster.
