    Description

Offered for sale is a great plate in the "Iris" pattern.  The "Iris" pattern was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania from 1928-1932.  This plate measures 11 3/4 inches across and is called a sandwich plate in the book "Collectible Glassware from the 40's, 50's, and 60's" (copyright 2010, 10th edition) by Gene & Cathy Florence.  This plate is the largest plate listed in the "Iris" pattern and is not so easy to find these days.  This plate is in very good shape with no cracks, no chips, no cloudiness, no defects that I can find.  There may be a bit of roughness on one side of this plate but it is typical of Depression Glass.  To my knowledge, this large plate was never reproduced.  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Please remember that shipping to the West Coast may cost more.  Thank you for visiting my eBay Store and Happy Shopping!!
