ITW vortec 15H vortex cooling tube temps down to -50F

Description

For sale a ITW Vortec 208-15-H cooling tube new in original packaging:
from the literature-
"A vortex tube is a device which, when supplied with filtered compressed air at 100 psig (10.3 bar), converts the air into two streams. One stream is adjustable up to 250 degrees F (121 C) and the other is adjustable down to -50 F (-48 C)." Approximately 900 BTUH or 264 watts heat removal."
This model consumes 15 scfm at 100 psig and the one pictured with the valve and filter (NOT FOR SALE) went down to -37 F when tested in my shop without adjustment.
It is recommended that the air be filtered to 5 microns to trap dirt and must be dry to prevent ice buildup and clogging. 1/4" MNPT on both output sides, and 1/4" FNPT on the inlet. Made of SS, aluminum, and plastic components, and is adjustable for your specific needs. No moving parts to wear out. Very cold refrigeration without refrigerant. Made in USA
Note : this is the bare tube only you will need filtration and a dry air supply of at least 15 scfm to operate,
also the assembled unit in the pictures is not for sale -it is a demonstration of how to use and connect.
Can be used to cool machining processes, cool electronic panels or test faulty electronic components, or even if constructed correctly to make ice beer by the mug. See the pictures of the frozen outlet tube, it ran for around 5 minutes to freeze.
