    Madame Alexander CISSY Doll 1956 Tagged Aqua Taffeta dress.
    What makes this dress unusual is that the bodice is different from the Theater dress which has a gathered bust - this does not. It has the lovely cap sleeves and the very full skirt. One part of the top snap has come off but is snapped into its mate. You would not want me to sew it on, I have two left thumbs. The bodice is lined and it has a dropped waist. This has always been hung in my doll cabinet so the soiling on the lined bodice was done way before my time.
