Madame Alexander Doll Alexander-kins c.1954/55 SLW ~ Wendy in Nightgown / Nightie & Slippers
Description:
A similar nightgown with slippers outfit is shown in Patricia Smith's, "The World of Alexander-kins", 1985, on page 87 (see pics).
All comfy & ready for bed, Wendy is dressed in a circa 1954/55 peachy pink fine cotton Summery, lace-trimmed nightgown or nightie, pink satin & lace panties with a rose, & pale blue leatherette slippers with pink pom-poms.  The gown is tagged "Alexander-kins".
Her lovely shiny blonde flip-style wig is mint as is her hard plastic 7 1/2" straight leg walker body & outfit.  The "walking" mechanism works in so far as her head does turn when the legs move.  There are no splits in the joints.
The eye color is distinctive: pale hazel blue green.  Her face color & features are excellent.  The clothing & shoes have no stains, tears, losses, or flaws.  She is a lovely example of a well preserved & beloved Wendy doll.
