MADAME ALEXANDER VINTAGE HARD PLASTIC MINT BABS SKATER DOLL WITH MARGARET OBRIEN FACE!
CIRCA:  1948
HEIGHT:  18 INCHES/45.72CM
5 piece, hard-plastic child-like body. No cracks or odors.
Babs has movie star looks with her tightly curled, honey-blond, shiny, floss wig in tiny, numerous, CRIMP curls (In untouched condition)!
It’s obvious that she’s been primping herself!
Her gold band is accented with silver glitter! It lies across the crown of her head, embellished with a cluster of powder blue, velvet flowers on either side.  So beautiful.
She wears a frothy, powder blue, silk skating costume in crisp, ultra mint condition with beautiful sheen!
Her whirly skirt and waistline retains its original, crisp sizing. Her neckline is trimmed delicately in gold, metallic trim!   Her sleeveless dress and drop waist, loosely pleated skirt are trimmed with clouds of fluffy, marabou trim!
She’s vibrantly tagged, “Babs Skating, Madam Alexander, N.Y., U.S.A.", in rear.  4 square snap closure.
Bodice and waist lined with stiff, net tatum!
Crisp, powder blue, silk bloomers (leg elastic unstretched), trimmed in gold, metallic trim!
Silk material has fabulous sheen!
Gold foil covered, top stitched ice skates are excellent (metal eyelet rings)!
Ice skate blades attached with rivets are perfect and not deteriorated (which scrap metal is often guilty of).
Her pale blue hosiery adds a nice touch.
Babs has expressive ice-blue eyes with thick, upper sable colored lashes and Smokey brown eye shadow! Vibrant lower painted lashes and plump lips. Beautiful matte, cheek color.
This doll is drop dead gorgeous in person!
