Maggie-face Madame Alexander Doll. She stands 20” tall. She was produced from 1947-1954. Maggie was most likely a Roller Skater or Polly Pigtails character. (Interesting tidbit for those who didn’t grow up in the 1950s - Polly Pigtails was a children’s magazine for Girls and comic by the editors of Parents Magazine.)
Blonde hair in original floss braids. Straight leg non walker. Blue Sleep eyes with brush lashes.
Condition Issues: She does have a Smell. It’s a musty smell
. Not nearly as obvious as when she arrived 8 months ago. I’ve aired her out and cleaned her off. She was stored in a plastic bag by previous owner for some period of time.
Played with condition except for the lovely wig. Several stains, issues and blemishes to her head and body finish. Please see photos for face and back issues specifically. Color loss on her back and paint issue on center of forehead. See ears as well.
