In general these and many of the Motorola microphones have 2 main areas of weakness in the design. One, is where the reinforcement to the connector side of the cable sometimes breaks. The second is the dust cap for the 3.5mm earphone jack located on top of the accessory connector comes off and a set screw may be missing. You may receive a unit with none or all of these minor issues. Neither has any effect on performance or usability of the unit. Picture is representative.

    These OEM Motorola Speakers/Mics are in almost new, used condition.
    Includes a speaker, microphone, push-to-talk (PTT) switch, swivel clip and coiled-cord connector assembly. Microphone is equipped with a noise-cancelling microphone, which reduces background noise during transmit. The speaker/microphone also also includes a 3.5mm earphone jack located on top of the accessory connector.
