Original 1950 Madame Alexander Meg Doll in Little Women Dress

Beautiful Meg face doll by Madame Alexander.
Hard plastic dolls for Little Woman from 1949-1956 were using 14-15” Margaret and Maggie faces.
Doll is unmarked.
doll stands 14" tall. She is all hard plastic with straight legs. She has grey sleep eyes and a closed molded mouth. Eyes gets stuck intermittently. Paint to her face is well preserved except lower eyelashes to right eye.
This doll’s dress belongs to one of the sisters from Little Woman series named Jo. Meg is dressed in a Civil War style dress with a tag that reads “Louisa M. Alcott's Little Women Jo Madame Alexander N.Y. U.S.A. All Rights Reserved". Her petticoat is sewn to her dress. Her shoes and socks might not be original.
