New style and colors! These tags are much more durable than our originals. They are still silent, deeply engraved (no ink or printing here!), flexible, and completely customizable! If you've purchased from us before and want one of our original tags, just send me a message!PLEASE READ: Honesty is the best policy. This is a silicone dog tag. It is not a metal dog tag. It will never be as strong as metal; it also won't be as loud as metal or have the engraving rub off as metal tags do. If your dog is a chewer and can reach the tag, it may get damaged/ruined. If your dog has doggie friends or siblings that are chewers and like to gnaw on tags/collars, the tag may be damaged/ruined. If your dog gets hung up on something and pulls hard, the tag may be damaged/ruined. This is true for every silicone dog tag on the market whether the sellers disclose this or not. We think our silicone dog tags are great but they may not be the right choice for every dog. Please weigh your options carefully, as we cannot be responsible for damages that occur to tags after they have been on your dog. That being said, if there's ever an issue, please, reach out!
This listing is for a personalized silicone dog tag. The tags are laser engraved and the words are cut deep into the silicone and will not rub off or fade. They’re quiet, flexible, durable, and will stay looking great for a long time!
Please remember, exceptionally long lines will not work. We do our best to make sure all information is large and easily readable but the more characters you want on a line, the smaller the font will have to be. Common words like "Avenue," "Road," "Boulevard," "Street," as well as state names may be abbreviated to ensure that the text remains as large as possible and easy to read. If the second line of your address is especially long, you may want to consider leaving out your zip code. To make things fit and be a readable size, we may take some creative license and move things around to ensure that all of your information gets on the tag and is legible.
Phone numbers must be their own line for readability. If you would like your names or Mom/Dad with the phone numbers, the names/titles will have to be on a separate line.
All other information, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling will be engraved EXACTLY as written by the buyer. If you do not specify what you want on the front of the tag vs. the back of the tag, we'll make our best guess and place information on the tag in the way we think you meant it to be or the way it is the most readable.
Photos 7-10 show what every font character looks like. Some fonts (Font 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 18, and 20) are only one case (meaning uppercase and lowercase letters all look the same). If you use all capital letters in your personalization, your tag will be printed in all caps.
Please double check EVERYTHING including your shipping address on file with Ebay. We are not responsible for tags engraved with misspelled/incorrect addresses or phone numbers if those are the numbers you provided. Make sure that your shipping address is correct. Again, we are not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address if that is what you provided.
How to customize:
Choose your tag color from the drop down menu.
Choose font from the drop down menu (font choice is for the pet’s name only; all additional text will be in Font 24, our standard, easy to read font).
Front of Tag: (up to 3 lines of text, remember, your dog's name counts)
Back of Tag: (up to 4 lines of text)
Tags are approximately 1.5” tall (including the black portion where the metal ring attaches) and 1.5” wide. The actual bone itself (not counting the black portion where the metal ring attaches) are approximately 1" tall and 1.5" wide. Tags include a 20mm (roughly 3/4”) split ring. If you have a smaller dog or would just prefer a smaller ring, we’d be glad to toss one in (no charge), just leave us a note when you order asking for one.
Please note that while durable, these dog tags are NOT indestructible. They are NOT CHEW PROOF. If your dog is a chewer and wears a loose collar or can reach the tag with their mouth, they can damage them. Tags may be damaged by other dogs chewing/pulling on them. If your dog gets caught on something and pulls hard, the tag may be damaged. These are sturdy but there are situations that could result in damage to the tag. Like any dog tag out there, there are pros and cons to this type of material. Pros: Cute, quiet, engraving will not rub off. Cons: Less durable.
The laser engraving process produces ash. While we make every attempt to get every tag perfectly clean, you may notice a small amount of whiteish-gray tinge in the letters. This can be washed away using a soft bristled brush and some dish soap.
