circa 1959, by Madame Alexander
. She'll make a wonderful playmate for your Patti PlayPal, Betsy, Linda & Sandy McCall and similar size dolls with her adorable looks and friendly features which include big round,
FLIRTY
sleep eyes with original long, curly eyelashes, cute little "pug" nose, blushed cheeks and closed smiling mouth. Marked: Alexander (

on her neck, she has
thickly rooted, beautiful short curly, brown hair with curly bangs,
(no hair cut and no missing plugs) swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and hips and wears an adorable, replaced polished cotton, sailor dress with navy blue trim, attached petticoat, sailor collar and navy blue bow and wide sash, matching sailor hat with grosgrain band and ribbon trim, cotton under shirt and panties, white shoes and socks.
Joanie
stands well, her joints work smoothly and she is in excellent, very clean condition with no cracks, no ink marks or stains, no repairs and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.  Her eyes "flirt" to both sides and her head turns correctly. She is a very good quality and heavy doll with walker mechanism.
