Set of 2 Jeanette Glass Iris and Herringbone dessert dishes, iridescent peach

Description

This is a set of 2 Jeanette Glass Iris and Herringbone pattern dessert dishes.  They are in the iridescent peach carnival shade.  The dishes measure about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and weigh about 6 ounces each.  They are beautiful with a smooth edge 3/8 inch wide.  The rest of the surface is the design with a solid herringbone background and the iris flowers and leaf pattern.  These dishes have the lovely color and they glimmer from the light on this surface.  The interior of the bowl is smooth.   The bowl of the dish sits on a pedestal that is 2 3/8 inch in diameter; smooth on top with a set of ridges circling the underside of the pedestal base.
These dishes were made in the 1950's and have been stored with care as part of a cherished collection.  They have not been used over the past 60+ years as they were more like treasures than kitchenware.  They are in excellent condition.
