REDHEAD "CISSY" BIG SISTER BINNIE WALKER 24" 1955 DOLL---with hard plastic torso & jointed bending legs, and vinyl "CISSY" arms, jointed at elbows---SHE IS A JOY TO POSE!---STANDING OR SITTING---HER LEGS "LOCK" INTO SITTING POSITION---AND THEN UNLOCK TO STAND.  HER KNEES LOCK INTO STRAIGHT POSTION TOO! . . .  Madame Alexander made this "BIG CISSY" FOR ONE YEAR ONLY---1955---with the FAMOUS "CISSY" FACE! . . . Her head was never made to turn as the smaller Binnie Walker Dolls do---she only "walks" by posing her legs in walking positions.  I have another "BLONDE BIG CISSY BINNIE WALKER" DO""LL currently listed---these are the ONLY TWO BIG CISSY DOLLS I HAVE DRESSED IN THESE ORIGINAL PINK DRESSES! . . . This Pink Dress has MINI-RICK-RACK trim, original "stud" buttons down front of bodice, cap sleeves with RICK-RACK TRIM.  This dress has been ironed but it has never been washed---is has it's ORIGINAL PATINA to this soft pastel pink fabric . . . THERE ARE "AGE SPOTS" small but can be found on her skirt, on bodice, scattered here and there . . . they may come out with washing . . . difficult to photograph but if you look closely at photos you will probably be able to see them . . .ORIGINAL TAFFETA PANTIES WITH ORIGINAL PINK SATIN RIBBON BOWS show age but are PRECIOUS WITH ORIGINAL ELASTIC still holding . . . NEW BABY BLUE CARDIGAN KNIT SWEATER is  TAGGED "THE DOLL CLOTHES STORE, SILVERTON OREGON", with FOUR MATCHING BUTTONS . . . ORIGINAL EXTREMELY RARE REDHEAD WIG with ORIGINAL BANGS & CURLS, held in place with a vintage hairnet, and a NEW PINK "SWISS DOT" GROSGRAIN HAIRBOW . . . I "made just for you" FINGERLESS LACE GLOVES & "PEARL" BRACELET & "PEARL" NECKLACE with "DIAMOND" JEWELED MAGNETIC CLASP for ease of "on and off" . . . Clasp can be worn as a pendant or worn in back for a "simple strand of pearls" classic look . . . I also added a NEW PINK SATIN RIBBON TRIMMED TULLE CRINOLINE PETTICOAT for extra skirt strut . . . I HAVE LOVED THIS LADY DEARLY but have decided to "let her go" on a New Dolly Adventure to someone who can repair her and make her once again "PERFECTLY WONDERFUL"---SHE IS A "TLC DOLL" NEEDING REPAIR to her EYES---THEY ARE TOO WIDELY SET to fit her eye openings---MAKING HER "FLIRT" WITH A SIDE EYE GLANCE!---and her RIGHT EYE NEEDS NEW LASHES IN THE CENTER.  In the close up photo of her lying down, I cannot get the missing lashes to show up---her ORIGINAL EYESHADOW SHOWS UP BEAUTIFULLY but her missing lashes do not---trust me, she has some missing---and her eyes "STICK" OPENING & CLOSING---a quick tap on her head usually "helps" them close or open . . . She has a SEAM SPLIT THAT HAS BEEN REPAIRED---right upper thigh, and a "CROTCH CRACK" that will need to be filled eventually . . . it has not widened while she has been with me for many years . . . I did mend her Sister Blonde Binnie "Big Cissy" who had the identical thigh split and crotch crack---only hers were much more dramatic . . . this doll has a much smaller split, repaired, and a smaller crotch crack . . . THIS BEAUTY HAS THE CLASSIC "CISSY ARMS"---SOFT VINYL JOINTED AT THE ELBOWS with DETAILED HANDS with creased finger joints & fingernail details . . . SHE IS A JOY TO POSE, WITH HAND TURNED DOWN OR UPWARD . . . I love her ORIGINAL BLACK OILCLOTH "SNAP" SHOES with UNIQUE CENTER POINT detailing---her SHOES SHOW AGE with creases & upturned toes, and soiled soles from "walking"---seen best in photo of her seated . . .ORIGINAL SILKY SOCKS! . . . I have never taken off her shoes so I cannot describe her feet or toes . . . I have learned to leave these original 65 year old metal snaps in place without testing them . . . Best for Binnie! . . .
