T-Mobile Personal CellSpot 4G LTE Signal Booster version 2 can enhance cellular coverage for up to 3,000 sq. mt. or 13000 square feet.
It does not require Internet to work. An old version required Internet to work, but it worked even if there's no signal at all inside the house. The technology used was called Femtocell. It plugged into your Internet router to set up a mini cell tower on the T-Mobile network.
It can support up to 16 users (8 on 3G and 8 on 4G LTE) on bands 2, 4, and 12. How Does It Work?
It needs aleast minimal signal strength equiv. to 1 bar in one spot of the house or apartment to amplify that signal throughout the home. Placing the network unit there will provide network coverage to the rest of area up to 13000 sq. ft.
