Madame Alexander’s 14” Little Women Doll Beth
Her pretty little face looks perfect. It is the “Maggie” face mold with round cheeks and full lips. She has full brush lashes and small hands. Her hair is reddish (the bottom part feels dry). She is wearing a green and pink plaid dress with a white front that has tiny dark metal beads. The white cotton slip is attached. The tag is still attached to the dress, but is frayed and faded. Both her white cotton pantaloons and the hem of the dress are trimmed with white eyelet lace. She has her original black side snap shoes with bows and rayon socks.
The elastic on the pantaloons has deteriorated so is not tight anymore. There are also some dark marks on her tummy possibly from a doll stand. Her right arm has an unusual circle in the paint like a small crater.
When I put my nose on her face, I detect a slight hard plastic odor.
