Vintage 1954 Madame Alexander Doll 15" Binnie Walker Cissy Face

Description

A 1950s Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll in a dirndl style skirt, black velvet bodice, net sleeves, and a green and white striped skirt. She has has a ‘Cissy’ face with blue eyes, dark lashes, rosy cheeks, and ruby red lips. Blonde hair with bangs and braided pigtails tied with green satin ribbons. She comes with silk like panties, a net slip, socks, and black shoes.  Marked ‘Alexander’ on back neck, and dress has the  ‘Madame Alexander’ tag.
She is a walker, and her head turns side to side when legs are moved.
Overall, good vintage condition.  She has a few faint marks on her left side face, one on each arm.  Her clothing looks good, one small pale rust colored stain back of skirt.  I have made no attempt to clean her skin, or her clothing. some velvet loss to the tips of her shoes, bottom soles look good (she must've dragged her toes when she walked) Wig is nice, a few flyaway strands.
This lovely doll is part of a collection from an elderly woman who passed.  I know a little about dolls, but no where near what an avid collector would know.  I will try to point out what things I see that may be important to you. If you have any questions, just ask me.
