Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander 8" Pierrot Clown #561 BKW Alexander-kins
This cute little doll is marked ALEX on her back. She has a blonde short caracul wig and her pink satin clown suit is tagged "Alexander kins."
Her pink satin suit and hat have been gently cleaned and still hold some sheen.  The collar is made of tulle and is tied in the back so you can remove it.  Elastic in the cuffs of sleeves and ankles is a little stretched out.  She wears satin ballet slippers that still have their soles and the seams seem to be intact - see photos.
Ribbons in her shoes were cleaned and retied.  They are a tad faded but still have some of that pretty baby light blue coloring.
Her little puppy is missing an ear and the cord shows wear from use and play.  Be careful tying or untying because the gold fabric is around the cord and can be pulled off if you tie too tightly.
Her eyes' irises are black but she still has her painted lashes and eyebrows.   I took a macro close up of her face to show the plastic better - zoom in to consider it.  I noticed no sour odors.
Her past history is unknown except that she came from a lifelong owner who owned her as a child.
The doll is coming from a brief stay in my smoke free, pet free home.
Item is not mint.  If you need more photos, please ask.  I have mentioned flaws that I saw, but I'm not an expert so there could be others.

I hand deliver all my packages to the postal worker over the counter and watch it get officially scanned in and then receive the paper printed receipt that shows official USPS or FedEx proof your package was shipped.  I will never put your package in a drop box.
