Blue polished cotton dress with lace trim around the neckline and sleeves and matching undies.  The dress has a separate dotted nylon pinafore with teal blue rickrack.  The tag is found inside the pinafore, not inside the dress.  Dress is made for the 8"  Wendy-kins doll.
The cute little dress needs a little stitch repair at the seams of the shoulders but has working snaps in the back.  Elastic in the undies seems good and holds up on the doll well.  There are 2 small spots on the back hem of the skirt.
Doll wearing this outfit is featured on page 138 in Patricia Smith's book, "The World of Alexanderkin."  She is also featured on page 73 of Linda Crowsey's book.
Dress or outfit was with one life long owner who played with it as a child, before I recently obtained it.
I have gently cleaned it so it is fresh without odors and comes from my smoke free pet free home.
