Vintage 20” Effanbee Dewees Cochran  (I think this is a Dewees Cochran) -
Anne
Shirley American Children Compo Doll. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail .00. From a non-smoking home.
PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
• She is marked on her back - Effanbee Anne - Shirley
• She is marked on the back of her head, and although her wig covers most of it, I believe it to say - American Children
• She has a crack around the same area that appears to have been “repaired”
• She is missing one of her hair ribbons
• She is missing the charm part of the bracelet tag she has
• Doll has various crazing/cracks/marks
• Areas of the doll’s face appear to be repainted
• Doll has painted fingernails
• Her lips appear to have maybe been repainted
• Her feet appear to have maybe been repainted
• The outfit does NOT appear to be original, although the jacket does appear to be pretty old
• The socks have some holes
• The inside of the jacket has holes/rips
• The outside of the jacket maybe had some discoloring
• The white collar of the jacket has some stains/discoloring
• Everything else appears to be in pretty decent shape
The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
