Vintage 20” Effanbee Dewees Cochran  (I think this is a Dewees Cochran) -
Anne
Shirley American Children Compo Doll. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail .00. From a non-smoking home. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
• Doll’s right foot has a crack on the big toe
• Doll has painted fingernails
• Doll’s face has lots of crazing
• The torso, left arm, and legs appears appear to have been repainted
• The right arms appears to have been repainted with different paint
• Where the right leg joint is, there is a crack and over it, around it appears to have be repainted, and the other leg joint looks similar
• Back of doll’s head is marked - Effanbee American Children
• Below the neck is marked - Effanbee Anne - Shirley
• Doll has painted eyes
• I believe wig to be original
• Do NOT know anything about the outfit, whether it is original or not
• The clothes appear to be in pretty good condition, the underwear having only minor small or tiny stains on one little section
• The shoes appear to have been repainted
• The shoes are pretty rough looking
PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
