Vintage Cissy Doll TLC

Description

Today I am offering a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll for sale.  She is a pretty girl and would make a great project to restore or for a beginner Cissy to a new collector.  She does have pretty blue eyes and all of her eyelashes.  The eyes open and close nicely.  She has ruby red lips and rosy cheeks, and may have had a spa treatment at sometime in her past.  Her wig is in bad shape and will probably need to be replaced.  The strands are falling out in several places, however, she displays fine with a hat.  She has stains on her body, that don't show when she is dressed.  She has a tiny chip on the end of her nose often seen in these dolls as they were played with by little girls and fell over at times.  My childhood Cissy has one.  There are shadows or blotches on her face that were hard to capture with my camera.  I took shots both with and without the flash. They are mostly around the nose and I think show up best in the last two photos.  They aren't a big deal and are hard to see when she is displayed.  There is a very tiny hairline hip split high up on one leg which I have pictured almost to small to mention but I felt I should disclose it.  She is well strung and holds a pose.  Please examine the pictures carefully as they are the main description.  Thank you for looking at my sale and have a wonderful Cissy filled day.
