VINTAGE GREEN DEPRESSION GLASS LARGE 9" RIBBED MIXING BOWL HAZEL-ATLAS JEANNETTE

Here is a terrific piece of
GREEN DEPRESSION GLASS
to add to your collection - a solid, heavy large mixing / serving bowl. It is made by either Hazel-Atlas or Jeannette (I'm not an expert on this at all and have seen it reported as both) and has vertical ribbing that comes up just most than halfway along the sides and a nice wide lip.
The bowl has a 9" diameter and is about 4 1/2" high. As you can see in the photos, there are 2 small chips on one side of the rim, and there's another small chip on the other side of the rim. There are some air bubbles from original manufacturing and also some scratching and surface nicks around the rim from use - but no cracks and nothing that compromises the overall integrity of the bowl, which is sturdy (weighs over 3 pounds) and ready for use in mixing or serving.
I've described the bowl as carefully as I can, but please bear in mind that this is a pre-owned kitchen item that is at least 80 years old. It has been carefully stored in a smoke- and pet-free home. Email with any questions. Thanks!
