Vintage Hazel Atlas Ritz Blue (Cobalt) Rest Well Pattern - 8 1/2" Mixing Bowl
Beautiful 8 1/" Ritz Blue (Cobalt) Rest Well Pattern Mixing Bowl made by Hazel Atlas in the late 1930's to the early 1940's.  These were either sold individually or a set of 5, which consisted of a  5 1/2", 6 1/2", 7 1/2", 8 1/2" and a 9 1/2" bowls.  They were promoted as having a rolled edge, which prevents chipping and makes an easy drip for handling and a paneled base that permit bowls to be placed in tilted position for easy mixing and made of a heavy press glass.  The panel base is a really nice feature and with being able to tilt the bowl, it really does make it easier to mix your favorite cake or brownie mix and to whip some eggs or cream.
This is the 8 1/2" bowl and it measures 8 1/2" wide (9 1/4" from rolled rim) and is almost 4" high.  It is in very good used condition free of any chips or cracks.  There are some minor little utensil nicks on the inside (see picture 11) and a straw mark on the bottom but nothing to effect the overall beauty of this bowl.  Would look perfect in any modern day kitchen, the Ritz Blue (manufacturer color name) Cobalt blue color is just gorgeous and perfect to put on your island with some fresh fruit or would add a pop of color to any holiday buffet table.
Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
