Vintage Jeannette Glass Iris & Herringbone White Footed Bowl with handles

Description

Vintage Jeannette Glass Iris & Herringbone White Footed Bowl with tab like handles and a sawtooth opening. It measures slightly larger than 6" across the top, 7-1/4" across the handles, height is 3-1/2", round foot is 3-1/4" diameter. This pattern earned its name because of the full relief molded Iris flowers and leaves on a background molded in the Herringbone pattern. Jeanette first produced this pattern in 1928 and it was continued through the depression era and is sometimes referred to as depression glass. It was a very popular, unmistakable pattern of the 20th century for Herringbone collectors. FL 7 is on the bottom. No other trademark seen.
