Vintage Madame Alexander Margaret O’Brien Plastic With Hat 1949-51
Clothing dress tagged "Madame Alexander New York"
Blue-green sleeping eyes
Full lashes and painted lower lashes
Note, there is a tiny mark near her eye, see pics.
Red painted lips
Reddish
brown mohair wig
tied into braids, which I did not tie up, one is coming undone. see pics
I don't see any markings on the body or neck and did not want to look under her wig
original ? blue and white striped cotton dress with petticoat apron and underpants with red flowers see pics
red straw hat with flowers
ht. 21 in.
No shoes or socks
Included with doll is her original outfit which includes:
(1) Tagged blue & white stripe dress with eyelet at hem
with faded white or muslin color collar with faded redish bow
and lacy eyelet trim at each puff sleeve.
Dress fastens in back with 3 metal snaps (all intact / work).
Dress Tag is white with blue lettering - it reads: Madame Alexander, N.Y. U.S.A.
(2) & (3) Matching eyelet-trimmed “muslin color” color petticoat & panties. Petticoat doesn’t have fasteners but ties in the back with ribbon.
Panties have elastic waist & are trimmed with 2 ribbon bows that are a red/pink color and have eyelet trim.
CONDITION:
DOLL in sound basic condition, but since vintage is not perfect, thus sold “as is”.
