Vintage MARME 14" Alexander Doll LITTLE WOMEN All Original Tagged ca. 1949

Description

Hard to find early hard plastic 14" Marme by Madame Alexander in tagged original costume complete including lace stole closed with original bar pin. Auburn looped curls pulled back into remnants of hair net/snood, ribbon finish. Full hair type eyelashes on top lid, painted lashes below, eye sockets appear incised. Tagged gold taffeta gown trimmed with black tiny loop braid at hem and sleeves, black velvet bodice. Attached petticoat and matching lace trimmed pantaloons. Rayon socks, original side snap shoes with bows on toes. Gown has some age spots and a 1/2" tear near the bottom which hides well in the folds of the dress (see photos). The sleeves are becoming detached from the bodice but can easily be re-attached. Tag reads: Madame Alexander/New York/ All Rights Reserved. A snood or hair net is still with the doll and   is included.
The doll stand is not included.
Purchased from the original owner, this is one of a set of Little Women dolls she put  away 50+ years ago. This is a vintage doll.  I have tried to fully describe the condition of the doll and clothing after thorough examination. Pictures should be considered part of the description. Returns are accepted within 30 days if prior notice of reason for the return is given to seller within 5 days of receipt of item. All items must be returned in same condition as when originally shipped. Buyer pays return shipping.
